On Sept. 9th, council approved zoning changes under R38-2019. In it was a waiver of ordance that would normally require zoning changes to have public discussion. Clearly they were avoiding any discussion about the details in this, as it was permitting our township to participate in marijuana growth, supposedly for the production of CBD oil, which is said to have certain medicinal qualities. I guess they will be inventorying every plant to make sure this is not abused. Of course when you go to the rear of the council meeting room to get the printout of 38-2019, there were no more copies.
